Social Bookmarking Current Event

Something that I realized from reading this article is that Social Bookmarking grows as we use it everyday. Every person customizes their own usage of these websites and as they do the websites and tools develop and grow.

I believe that Social Bookmarking if used efficiently can be a great tool to make the most of your online presence. As it continues to grow it can become more efficient and useful.

One website that I've heard much about is Reddit. It's an online forum that can provide you with information and links you to other websites and such.

Social Bookmarking is defined as a centralized online service which allows users to add, annotate, edit, and share bookmarks of web documents. Social bookmarking can greatly impact your life as you strive to implement the many wonders of the internet. It allows you to save and share your favorite websites with all of your friends with ease while providing instant access to said websites. One specific social bookmarking tool that is used often in my home is Pinterest. My mother, Susan, uses Pinterest to find and share the craftiest of crafts, new recipes, and exciting inspirational quotes. In the comparison between Powerpoint and Prezi, I truly believe with all my heart that Powerpoint is the superior program. Not only is it more user friendly but it provides a more formal and business like tone. Prezi can be a great tool if the user has much experience and is familiar with it but can prove to be quite challenging to get the hang of especially in a more serious setting. Powerpoint is truly a crowd favorite that will stay at the top of its class in this ever changing world because of its familiarity and sophisticated feel that appeals to everybody.
